Spending the day at California Adventure we got to see the Paradise Pier area at sunset and again at night, where we watched a really spectacular water and light show as the climax to our visit.
Of course the first ride we went on was the Guardians of the Galaxy drop. Patty wasn't really enthusiastic, but Craig hadn't ever ridden it, so she agreed this once. Here is a picture of us and, of course, Patty is the one waving and Craig is the one hanging on.
We only went on five rides - Guardians, Spiderman, Soaring, Toy Story Mania (Patty's favorite), and Craig went on the Roller Coaster. The rest of the time we wandered and took advantage of the Lunar New Year oriental dishes available all around the park. For dinner we had clam chowder in sourdough bread at Pacific Wharf.
